How does it work?
 
Villa Monitor is a low cost, easy to install, wireless,keyless, entry control sytem that will provide you with not only that comfort feeling, not only a higher level of security, but also help you maximise your rental potential
 
It works in a similar way to the type of system used to get into your place of work. However the Villa Monitor system and software has been specifically designed for the holiday property rental market.
 
Being GSM based means that it is possible to install just about anywhere without the need or cost of a landline connection. 
 
A small Villa Monitor control unit is installed in your property.

An aesthetic Vandal resistant Keypad with inbuilt reader, is installed adjacent to your front door (position agreed with yourselves).

A mobile phone sim is designated to the system.

Your local operator connects you to the Villa Monitor Software.

                                   You are now set up

For the user it’s very simple – they have a unique a four digit code which they punch in to the keypad. Provided the correct numbers are punched in and the user is allowed to enter your property at that time the lock will actvate and open the door. When they leave they simply pull the door shut.

When you want to add a new PIN code to your system, simply give your local operator the details and the Villa Monitor System will create a unique PIN,it will then dial your control unit and instruct it to accept the code. The whole process takes seconds. The Villa Monitor Software calls your control unit daily and asks for a report, which lists every entry, the code used and the time. We forward the report to you, normally by email on a monthly or weekly basis depending on the service level agreement you opt for.

The system will not only provide you with more information about your property but it will also:

Avoid potential loss of revenue.By viewing the reports generated by the Villamonitor Software you will be able to see all movements into your property and ensure that your hospitality and investment is not being abused.


Allow PIN changes instantly, so if you ever have a problem guest or be unhappy with anything occurring at your property you could have the access code changed immediately, therefore denying any further entry until the problem has been resolved.

Late arrivals and overstays can be accommodated easily with no need to meet guests in the middle of the night. They just simply turn up and enter their designated PIN code.


You could choose to give regular guests or family their own card, keyfob or PIN codes for whenever they visit.

You can give your management/maintenance companies their own card. key fob or PIN code so you would know when they attended your property.

You can issue as many codes as you want and each can be for a specific time. For example if you have guests staying for a week, set their code up to last just for that week. If you have a builder going in to do an estimate set the code up to last just one day, or even for one hour. If you have cleaners going in every week, set their code to be ongoing, but if you change your cleaner, simply, instantly cancel their old code. They won’t get back in but you will know if someone tried.
